📋 Manitoba PNP Temporary Policy for a two-year Manitoba-specific work permit extension

This policy Valid until December 31, 2024, this policy applies to prospective Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program candidates who meet one of the following scenarios:

➡️ Hold a valid work permit expiring in 2024, or
➡️ Had a work permit valid on May 7, 2024, which has expired, and have:

1. Applied for a new work permit under section 200, or

2. Applied for an extension under section 181, or

3. Applied for restoration of temporary resident status under section 182,
   Been authorized to work under paragraph 186 (u) with pending or approved applications for a new work permit or extension under sections 200 or 181.

Additionally, candidates must meet all the following conditions:

➡️ Have had and still have a valid Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program Expression of Interest profile as of May 10, 2024, and at the time of application.
➡️ Have been continuously residing in Manitoba since before May 10, 2024.
➡️ Be currently employed in Manitoba with an employer willing to provide a letter of employment.
